Description

It is a material used to produce countless textiles, ranging from sleepwear to bedding. The first aspect to consider in order to correctly distinguish this fabric from others is the density of the fibers used. Unlike other popular materials such as cord, flannel, or jersey, microfiber has an exceptionally low-density linear weave. It is less than 1 denier, and to better illustrate this, it can be said that microfiber is about 100 times thinner than a human hair. It is also worth noting that this material consists of a blend of two basic fibers, meaning it contains both polyester and polyamide microfibers.
