Description
This is a material used to produce countless textiles, ranging from sleepwear to bed linen. The first thing to consider in order to correctly distinguish this fabric from others is the density of the fibers used. Unlike other popular materials such as corduroy, flannel, or jersey, microfiber has an exceptionally low linear density weave. It is less than 1 denier, and to better illustrate this, one could say that microfiber is about 100 times thinner than a human hair. It is also important to note that this material is made up of a blend of two basic fibers, which means it contains both polyester and polyamide microfibers.
