Description
This is a material used to produce countless textiles, from sleepwear to bed linen. The first thing to consider when distinguishing this fabric from others is the density of the fibers used. Unlike other popular materials such as corduroy, flannel, or jersey, microfiber has an unprecedentedly low linear density weave. It is less than 1 denier, and to better illustrate this, one could say that microfiber is about 100 times thinner than a human hair. It is also worth noting that this material consists of a blend of two basic fibers, meaning it contains polyester microfibers and elastomer fibers.
